He has a band aid obsession. If anything hurts it gets a band aid and then it miraculously feels better.
One night he was in bed and kept whining that his lip hurt. He wanted a band aid but I didn't think it was necessary at 9pm to go in and give him one. So I did what any good mom does and I ignored his request. The next morning he comes to the side of my bed and I see this...
It took me a second to figure out what the heck the kid had on his face. But low and behold Dad had come to the rescue the night before and gave the poor kid a band aid.
He has also gotten himself quite the attitude lately. He screams and whines when he's told no, teases Karter constantly and if he asks for something only mom can do it...URRR!!!
Hudson had to have his turn playing with Karter's new life jacket. I'm not sure what purpose it was serving him. The pink hanger is his gun so I guess we could assume it's his bulletproof vest.
I learned very quickly when Karter was younger that even if boys aren't exposed to guns everything will still be used as one. It's totally in their nature.
The cowboy hat goes everywhere with Hud. We have three of them. They are all coming apart and I find the straw all over the house. I went to make Hudson's bed one morning and when I pulled back the covers his entire bed was covered in straw. He looked like he was sleeping in a barn! I had to lay down the law and make a rule of no hats in bed after that.
