We have had the first (I'm sure it won't be the last) foreign object removed from Karter's body today. It was a rock in the nose.f He was at the grocery store with my mom. She was talking with my aunt in the parking lot when all of the sudden Karter starts to cry. He told my mom what had happened and they called me to see what they should do...it wasn't posible for them to get it out. I had just laid Hudson down for a nap so I told them to take him to the clinic and have them remove it. When they got to the doctors my mom asked Karter if the rock was still in his nose. He stuck his finger up his nose, felt around and said "Yes it is." It took four people to hold him down and the Dr couldn't get a good hold of it. He said each time he went to grab it it would just go farther up. Karter was mad enough that when he let out a breath of air it had enough force to blow the rock out. Thank heavens! The doctor was about ready to call for the ENT. I asked Karter if he was ever going to do that again and he of course said no but he has had his finger up his nose since it came out. I don't know if he is just checking things out or if he is measuring to see what else he could shove up there.
