The grain field across the street from our house was harvested last week. Karter loved watching the combine go back and forth. I on the other hand...not so pleased. This is how it started....
then went to this.....
and finally to this.
The dust was so bad. This picture was taken in my backyard. The dust was so thick and heavy. It had crossed the street, traveled across my acre yard and settled on the potato field behind my house. Talk about some allergies. You would think that a house is pretty air tight but once you have a grain field harvested next to it you will see how good it really is. What a mess! So all you city folk better appreciate not only the farmers who provide you with food but also us who get to enjoy the aftermath of harvest.
