I love the blessings I have received in my life from the temple. Knowing that I could go to the temple to find peace and inspiration after my mom's car accident was the greatest blessing to myself and my family. And what a blessing it is to know that I am sealed to my family for "time and all eternity". I wasn't going to blog about this because I don't think people like this need to be recognized but I did want to share my testimony of the temple and would encourage anyone who has questions about the church to seek out the missionaries or simply go to lds.org and click on the link "About the Church".

I was watching one of the early news shows this morning and they were discussing this very thing about the show Big Love. They showed the video clip of the actors performing temple ceremonies and was shocked that they were actually showing something like this. One of the main actors (can't remember his name) felt proud of what they had done and didn't seem to understand why so many are offended because of it. Thanks for the article, I was just wondering how the church felt about it and how I should respond.
