The farmers were busily planting potatoes this morning so the boys took a seat front and center on the front step. I love having little boys and living in a community where they can see an abundance of tractors, big trucks and everything in between.

Is this how all little boys legs look or is Karter extra clumsy? He never cries that he is injured so I have no idea how he ends up looking like this.
Karter told me he was going to get himself dressed one morning so I left him to it. He knows how to get undressed and how to put his shirts on but has never gotten fully dressed by himself. He came into the bathroom where I was putting on my face and said "Mom can you put my pants on right?" I looked down and this is what I saw.

It was so cute! He had put everything on backwards. Silly kid!!

I love this sweet girls blog. She is amazing and while reading about her everyday life I am humbled and grateful for the life I have in this country.
I am thankful we are able to provide our children with an abundance of lifes needs and wants. We are so blessed...

I have never really thought of traveling abroad. It hasn't ever been on my "list" of things to do. Maybe because it is not an option at this point in my life but I follow this ladies blog and can I just say I need to go to Paris so I can go to the thrift and antique stores. Anyone want to go along?

Both of my boys love helmets. We only had one helmet so there was often an arguement over who's turn it was. I bought this one at an auction a few weeks ago. I think I paid $2.50. I thought it was smaller than what it is but it still works. It didn't help stop the arguements though. They both still want to wear the other one versus' this one.

Hudson put on the motorcycle goggles all by himself. It was funny and he was so proud of himself. He didn't care at all that they wouldn't cover his eyes.

Hudson is allergic to red foods. This is what happens to him when he eats things like spaghetti or ketchup...he turns red! It lasts a day or two and by the time it is cleared up we are eating something red again.

I have been busy with lots of projects lately...that's why my blog has been neglected. I am redoing our bathrooms. They are coming along but I have lots to do. This is the kids "helping" me refinish the cabinets. They kept themselves entertained and out of my way for a long time...they are such good "helpers".

Big Bubba LoVeS shoes and can often be found trying to put a pair on. His or someone else's...he's not picky.
We were able to meet our friends from Las Vegas in Salt Lake over Easter weekend. It was a lot of fun. All of our kids were sick and a little grouchy(not that that's anything new) but we kept them busy and they were ready for bed everynight. The weather was also very uncooperative. Darn snow!!

We rode TRAX to the Childrens museum. The kids loved both the train and the museum. We spent four hours at the museum with an hour break for lunch. That place is amazing!! I have heard a lot of people talk about it but had no idea it could occupy our kids for that long.

Karter spent most of his time hogging the gas station display. He loved being able to fill up the car.

Hudson kissed everything. I'm not sure why but it was cute!

There is a full size helicopter on the roof that the kids can play in. I think it was an old life flight helicopter. It simulates the sound of a running helicopter inside of the bay and Holy Smokes it is loud!! I could not imagine having to work in noise like that let alone trying to save someones life.

Karter and I stayed up there for quite a while. He was in heaven being able to fly a "heckotocker" and the cold didn't even faze him.

Joles and me. Ahh...we miss these guys.

The boys would start the nights out sleeping in their bed together but Hudson is such a squiggly worm. After he was asleep we would move him into his playpen so Karter could sleep without getting a black eye.

The Easter Bunny still found us at the hotel. He left the baskets outside the door of our room. He was nice enough to keep the goods low key so we didn't have to pack anything big back home with us. ;)

The boys each received a sticker/story book. They were a hit. They wore stickers on each hand, every day for a week.

It was a fun Easter. A little different than usual due to being in a hotel but it was fun to spend it with our Las Vegas buddies. We were going to go to a park and do an Easter egg hunt but it snowed the night before (imagine that) so we ended up doing it in the hotel lobby.

After the hunt we all packed up and hit the road. Julie and Steve had a long drive ahead of them. I loved how General Conference fell on Easter weekend. We were able to listen to the Sunday sessions on the ride home.

I have taken a bit of a vacation from my maid job. I have been doing the bare necessities which wasn't a lot. Dishes and what not.

Yesterday when I went to get Karter dressed he had no pants...oops. So he had to wear his church corduroys. Then last night after his bath we discovered he didn't have any clean underwear. We put some nice soft fleece pajamas on so he could go "commando".

After they kiddos were dressed I took them downstairs to clean up their toy room. I told Karter to put his stick horse away and he said that he was going to ride it to the play room.

He hopped on and started off...but stopped almost instantly and said "Well, I'm not riding that horse with no wonderwears."

Hahaha!! Note to self. Do NOT ride stick horses while going commando.

PS...I did the laundry last night. :)

I set up a new blog to show off my little "projects". Since I have my blog made into a book I didn't want to have to edit out all the posts of my junk furniture. So if you are so inclined hop on over to my new sight to check out what goes on in my garage when Karl is out working the "beat".

As I have been reading through all the blogs I track I see a reoccuring theme.
Here a lady shows of her large Yoshino Cherry tree that is all a bloom.
Another lady shows you some pics after a spring rain storm.
My cousin talks of enjoying near eighty degree weather.

And what do I have to brag about here in good ole Idaho.

Snow!!
This is what we woke up to yesterday morning. I am so READY for spring. But here we have one and a half seasons....winter and a few months of summmer. Urr...
