Holy Smokes!! Our computer crashed a few weeks ago and it has taken forever for HP to send us the parts we needed to fix it. The computer is only six months old and the hard drive already went out. Crazy! It's amazing how lost you feel when you don't have the internet.
We have been super busy for the last week. My(Sadie's) dad came from California and helped us do some landscaping in the front yard. We poured a new sidewalk and patio and planted sod and flowers. It looks so great. I'll post some before and after pics in a few days. My brothers and dad worked so hard. It made me happy that I'm pregnant and had a good excuse to get out of it.

Karl and Karter are getting the garden ready for planting. Grandma Peggy brought over fertilizer aka poop and Karl is mixing it in. Sounds delicious, ah.

We have lived in Idaho for a year this month. It is hard to believe and yet so believable. We miss our friends in Las Vegas so much. And we miss the weather. My mom was trying to make us feel better about the weather the other day, she said "If it makes you feel any better the wind has been blowing just as bad in Las Vegas this year as it does here." I said "True but when the wind blows in Las Vegas the temperature is still 80 and feels like it, not 60 but feels like 40." It is slowly getting warmer so I won't complain. Karl even ventured out golfing yesterday morning. Now instead of shoveling snow we get to mow our lawn. At least we can get a tan, even if it is a farmers tan. We fit right in!

Karter keeps himself busy all of the time. He has figured out that the food containers are great stacking toys. He unloads the cupboard and plays with them while I cook. It gets pretty messy sometimes. Once he got the lid off of the flour container. That was fun! He puts them away when he is done and he is happy while he's doing it so who am I to complain.
